TOBA TEK SINGH: A trader’s son kidnapped on Tuesday morning from Shadman Town in Faisalabad for a ransom of Rs50 million was recovered in the evening. Muhammad Tahir informed the Millat Town police that his son Hammad, a ninth-grade student, was riding a motorcycle to school when the gunmen bundled him into their car near the Chinioti Hospital and fled. They demanded a ransom of Rs50m through a call to his father, while the police picketed roads. Later, the captors dropped Hammad near Bawa Chak on Sargodha Road. Police said all exit roads were sealed to arrest the kidnappers.
