IG Punjab Amir Zulfiqar Khan took notice of the incident of death of accused while in custody in Bahawalpur
IG Punjab has sought a report of the incident from RPO Bahawalpur.
After the inquiry, strict departmental and legal action was ordered against those responsible
Torture or killing of accused in custody is not tolerable in any case.  Aamir Zulfiqar Khan
Inspector General Police Punjab Aamir Zulfiqar Khan has taken notice of the incident of the death of the accused while in custody in Bahawalpur and has asked for a report of the incident from RPO Bahawalpur.  IG Punjab ordered DPO Bahawalpur to take strict departmental and legal action against those responsible after the inquiry.  Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said that torture or killing of the accused under custody is not acceptable in any case and those involved in such incidents will be sentenced.
