Welfare Branch of Punjab Police is actively working for the welfare of police personnel / more funds have been issued.
The Welfare Management Committee of Punjab Police approved the medical assistance of 28 personnel suffering from various disorders.
A total of 40 lakh, 73 thousand, 705 rupees was given to these employees for medical expenses.
Funds were approved for the purchase of houses for the families of three martyred constables of Sheikhupura, Gujranwala and Mandi Bahauddin.

The welfare branch is actively working for the welfare of the police force and in this regard, funds have been released for providing medical aid to the personnel suffering from various diseases. The Welfare Management Committee of Punjab Police approved the medical assistance of 28 personnel suffering from various disorders. A total of 40 lakh, 73 thousand, 705 rupees was given to these employees for medical expenses. A constable of PHP Multan region was given more than 6 lakhs for the treatment of cancer. 5 lakh rupees (each) were given to the families of two officials of Rawalpindi suffering from cancer. More than one lakh per person was paid to a total of 11 employees while the medical bills of the remaining employees were also paid. Additional IG Finance and Welfare Muhammad Farooq Mazhar said that the Welfare Branch is utilizing all available resources for the welfare and maintenance of the police force and these measures will continue in the future.
Additionally, session of welfare management committee was held under chair of Addl IG Finance & Welfare Muhammad Farooq Mazhar at Central Police office , in which the final approval was given for the provision of funds to buy houses for the families of three martyred constables. According to the details, RPO Sheikhupura and Gujranwala had sent recommendations to the Central Police Office to provide houses for the families of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Rizwan of Sheikhupura Police, Shaheed Constable Muhammad Rizwan of Gujranwala and Shaheed Constable Imtiaz Ahmed of Mandi Bahauddin Police. In the meeting held on November 18 under the chairmanship of Addl. IG Finance and Welfare Muhammad Farooq Mazhar, the provision of funds for buying houses was approved. Houses will be provided to the three martyred constables at a cost of Rs 13.5 million per person. DIG Welfare Ghazi Salahuddin and DIG Headquarters Rai Babar Saeed participated as members in the meeting.
