Acting IG Punjab sought a report of the incident from RPO Multan.

Acting Inspector General of Police Punjab Kunwar Shahrukh has taken notice of the incident of killing of two students in Jahanian area of Khanewal and has directed RPO Multan for incident report. Acting IG Punjab Kunwar Shahrukh ordered DPO Khanewal to form a special team to arrest the accused and said that the accused who fired should be arrested as soon as possible and brought to justice.  Kunwar Shahrukh directed that the supervisory officers should keep close contact with the families of the slain students and that no effort should be spared in providing justice.
