IG Punjab orders CTD, RPO and DPO Gujrat to complete investigation of the incident through special investigation teams.
Inspector General Police Punjab Faisal Shahkar has taken notice of the firing incident near Imran Khan's container in Wazirabad and has sought a report of the incident from RPO Gujrat. IG Punjab directed the DPO Gujrat to reach the spot immediately and said that an inquiry should be made from all aspects of the incident. IG Punjab said that the accused who fired should be brought to justice as soon as possible.
Spokesperson Punjab Police while giving details about the tragic incident of firing during PTI long march in Wazirabad said that according to initial reports, 7 people were injured and one person was killed.
