IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar paid a visit to Faisalabad. Inaugurated the modern policing project "Police Vision" in Police Lines.
Under "Police Vision", 400 CCTV cameras have been installed which will directly monitor central and sensitive places of the city.
"Police Vision" includes Mobile Tracking Unit, Vehicle Tracking Unit, Pukar 15 and other sections to support the investigating officers.
"Police Vision" has created a monitoring desk for all mobile applications designed for modern policing.
The unique feature of Online Katchehri Police Vision under which CPO Faisalabad will be able to directly listen to the problems of remote citizens.
A special gallery has been created in "Police Vision" to pay tribute to the martyrs and sacrifices of Faisalabad Police.

Inspector General Police Punjab Faisal Shahkar has said that "Police Vision Faisalabad" is a unique project in terms of modern policing and crime control, which will provide special help in crime control, monitoring of sensitive places and eradication of anti-social elements in Faisalabad city. He said that four hundred CCTV cameras have been installed in the city under "Police Vision" which will directly monitor the central and important places of the city. IG Punjab said that "Police Vision" includes mobile tracking unit, vehicle tracking unit, Pukar 15 and other wings to support the investigating officers, while the monitoring desk of all mobile applications made in relation to modern policing has also been built in the same project. IG Punjab said that the unique feature of Online Katchehri Police Vision under which CPO Faisalabad will be able to directly hear the problems of distant citizens. IG appreciated the special gallery in "Police Vision" where photographs of martyrs and Ghazis are displayed to pay tribute to the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans (Ghazis) of Faisalabad Police. IG Punjab directed that the crackdown should be expedited to eliminate organized crime from all districts of Faisalabad region and the accused involved in street & serious crimes should be arrested and punished. IG Punjab said that operations should be carried out on a daily basis to eradicate the narcotics, while there should be no delay in strict measures under zero tolerance to eradicate gender-based crimes. He expressed these views today while inaugurating the modern policing project "Police Vision" at Police Lines Faisalabad. He presided over the crime meeting at the RPO office and issued instructions to all officers of region.
On arrival at the police line, the armed police contingent paid salutations to IG Punjab. IG Punjab laid flowers at the Martyrs Memorial in Tariq Mujahid Shaheed Police Line Faisalabad. CPO Faisalabad while briefing the IG Punjab about latest project of Faisalabad Police said that a special cell has been created in "Police Vision" for round the clock live monitoring of media channels and digital media sources. After visiting the police lines, IG Punjab issued important instructions while presiding over the crime meeting at the RPO office. He directed that every policeman should consider his duty as a sacred obligation. IG Punjab inaugurated the martyrs' memorial at CPO House and also planted saplings with the children of the martyrs. IG Punjab distributed laptops among the children of martyrs. IG Punjab heard the problems of the jawans in Police Line Darbar and issued orders on the spot to solve them. He also met the families of police martyrs at CPO House and inquired about the problems. IG Punjab reiterated that the families of police martyrs are our families and their welfare is among top priorities. On this occasion, RPO Faisalabad Dr. Moin Masood, CPO Faisalabad Umar Saeed Malik and DPOs of all districts of the region were present.
