The matter of letter written by the Election Commission to the Special Branch Punjab regarding the violation in the by-elections of Punjab
IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar sought a report from Additional IG Special Branch.
Special Branch Punjab has been directed by IG Punjab to strictly implement code of conduct of the Election Commission.
Strict action should be taken against officials who violate code of conduct of Election Commission. IG Punjab instructed to Additional IG Special Branch.
Inspector General Police Punjab Faisal Shahkar, taking notice of the letter written by the Election Commission to Special Branch Punjab regarding the violation in by-elections of Punjab, has sought a report from Additional IG Special Branch. IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Special Branch to strictly implement code of conduct of Election Commission and said that strict action should be taken against the officials who violate code of conduct of the Election Commission. IG Punjab further said that strict action will be taken if any kind of violation is found on the part of the officials.
