Inspector General Police Punjab Faisal Shahkar has congratulated the supervisory officers of Lahore Police and all the personnel performing field duty for ensuring foolproof security arrangements of Pakistan England T20 series in Lahore. The IG Punjab praised Special Branch, CTD, Safe City, Traffic Police, Dolphin Force for making ensuring best arrangements with mutual coordination of other concerned departments. He commended Lahore police for the best security and traffic arrangements during the three matches. IG Punjab said that I congratulate the 12,000 officials and officers, traffic wardens and lady officials who are performed field duty. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police has once again proved with its performance that it is capable of facing every challenge. IG Punjab said that he is also grateful for the cooperation of all the citizens who had to face the temporary closure of the roads during the movement of the teams. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police will continue to play its prominent role in the journey of restoration of international cricket in Pakistan. IG Punjab said that foreign citizens, investors and tourists are being provided a safe and conducive environment in Punjab and measures in this regard will remain continued in the future.
