TOBA TEK SINGH: Jhang police claimed on Monday to have recovered a teen from Lahore and arrested his two captors.
Jhang investigation SP Usman Munir Saifi told a press conference that Muhammad Asif (15) went out of his house at Mouza Kakki Nau to see his maternal grandfather in Shorkot city on July 14 but did not reach there. Shorkot city police had registered a kidnap case against unknown people on the complaint of his father Obaidullah.
The SP added that police succeeded to trace the culprits when both suspects started using mobile phone of the child a few days ago on another SIM card. Consequently, police conducted raids and arrested Javed of Badami Bagh (Lahore) and his accomplice Ashraf of Saggian Pul area and recovered from their custody the boy who was being used by them as bonded labourer.
