Punjab Police has arrested the suspects who committed bank dacoity in Narowal within ten hours and recovered the full amount of stolen money. DPO Narowal Anwar Saeed Kangra said that as soon as he assumed charge, he took the major incident of dacoity in Narowal as a test case and with the help of modern scientific technology and expert team, the accused were traced and arrested.
According to the details, DPO Narowal Anwar Saeed Kangra said that at around 10 am on Tuesday, a call was received to snatch 90 lakh rupees from the cash van of the bank. The two dacoits involved in the incident shot and injured the two security guards of the van when they resisted. Taking notice of the incident, RPO Gujranwala had directed to form teams immediately and arrest the accused. DPO Narowal Anwar Saeed Kangra said that the police arrested the main accused Sabatin and Rashid alias Muna in a very short time, only 10 hours. DPO Narowal said that more raids are being conducted to arrest the facilitators of the accused. DPO Narowal further said that according to the vision of IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar, all the resources are being used to protect the life and property of the citizens in Narowal and the anti-social elements will be arrested and punished so that peace and harmony will be maintained.
