Incident of murder of 15-year-old girl Iqra after kidnapping in Sahiwal / Accused arrested
Sahiwal Police arrested the killers of 15-year-old Iqra within twenty-four hours.
Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar had taken notice of the sad incident.

Sahiwal police have arrested the brutal suspects who killed 15-year-old girl Iqra after kidnapping her in Sahiwal within 24 hours. According to the details, Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar took notice of the sad incident while IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar instructed DPO Sahiwal to take all possible steps for the immediate arrest of the accused. DPO Sahiwal Sadiq Baloch said that the names of the accused are Adeel and Shani who have been arrested and locked up in custody.
DPO Sahiwal Sadiq Baloch said that the post-mortem of the dead body of the 15-year-old girl has been conducted and the samples have been sent to the forensic lab for analysis. DPO Sahiwal further said that while completing investigation of incident, the accused will be punished. DPO Sahiwal said that under the direction of IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar, police are following a zero tolerance policy on incidents of violence, harassment, rape and murder of women and actions will remain continued on a priority basis in this regard.
