Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has taken notice of the incident of death of a minor domestic worker due to violence in Defense Lahore and demanded a report from CCPO Lahore. IG Punjab said that the perpetrators of child abuse did not deserve any concession and those involved in such incidents would be punished.
According to details, senior police officers visited the spot as soon as the incident was reported. Lahore police registered a case against 5 persons involved in the incident while police took immediate action and arrested 3 persons including a woman. The IG Punjab directed the supervisory officers to keep close contact with the affected family and not to spare any effort to provide them justice.
