CCPO visits polling stations

LAHORE: CCPO Ahmad Raza Tahir has visited different polling stations to check security arrangements in the provincial metropolis on Sunday.
He visited polling stations established in the areas of Ravi Road, Chishtia, Shadbagh, Mochi Gate and Dehli Gate. The CCPO checked directed the police officials to remain alert to avoid any untoward incident.
However, the voters and the members of political parties expressed their dissatisfaction over the security arrangements.
They alleged that police were supporting ruling party instead of maintaining law and order.
The PML- N and the PPP members also scuffled with each other at different polling stations. However, no case was registered till the filing of this report.
