The accused had gone to his aunt's house in Shera Kot and hid himself after the murder. The accused was arrested with the help of modern technology.

Inspector General of Punjab Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan took notice of the murder of a 14-year-old boy in Shahdara area and sought a report from CCPO Lahore. IG Punjab directed to take all possible steps for immediate arrest of the accused. He emphasised upon conviction of accused and justice should be provided to the family members on priority basis.
According to details, on the direction of IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, DIG Investigation Lahore Kamran Adil visited the crime scene in Shahdara. He gave a special task to the Investigation Police to arrest the accused immediately and bring out the real facts of the incident. DIG Investigation Lahore told that the accused had gone to his aunt's house in Shera Kot and hid himself after the horrific murder. He was arrested with the help of modern technology. DIG Investigation further said that the accused has confessed to him crime whereas further investigation is underway and the accused will be given severe punishment with the help of strong prosecution.
