IG Punjab takes notice of acid attack on wife and son by ex-husband in Faisalabad
Faisalabad police arrested the accused within three hours.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan took notice of the incident of acid throwing on wife and son by ex-husband in Faisalabad and demanded a report from RPO Faisalabad. IG Punjab had directed CPO Faisalabad to take all possible steps for the immediate arrest of the accused.
According to details, on the orders of City Police Officer Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SHO Nishatabad Police Station along with a team conducted 11 raids and arrested the accused in 03 hours against whom strict legal action is being taken. CPO Faisalabad said that according to the directive of IG Punjab, the cruel accused will be punished. He said that law and order would be maintained and no one will be allowed to spoil peace.
