Dua Zahra and her husband Zaheer were taken into custody by Lahore Police from Bahawalnagar, Chishtian. According to the details , Lahore high court had directed Lahore police to produce the couple till 10th of June .  In this regard, CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana had assigned a special task for search of Dua Zahra.   Kamran Adil, DIG Investigation Lahore, said that the CIA Lahore, headed by SSP Investigation, had formed various teams to trace Dua Zahra.  Search teams conducted operations in different cities and arrested Dua Zahra and her husband from Chishtian Bahawalnagar. Dua Zahra and her husband Zaheer had taken shelter in house of Rafee a bank employee  at in laws of his brother . Dua Zahra and  her husband has been handed over to Karachi police.
