In Lahore, a minor Areez who was rescued from the clutches of kidnappers began to return to normal life.
The five-year-old Areez thanked the Punjab police for reuniting him with his family.
Talking to his father, he expressed his desire to join the police force in future.

A minor boy abducted from a private housing society in Sundar area of Lahore for a ransom of Rs 100 million has started returning to normal life after his safe recovery. Ahmad Yar, the father of five-year-old Areez, said that even after returning home, Areez spent the first two days in a state of shock, but gradually he is getting back to normal in his conversation and lifestyle and is having a good time with his family. Areez's father Ahmad Yar said that the successful police operation has made Areez a big fan of police. While talking to his family members, expressed his desire to join the police force in future.
In a video released on social media, Areez expresses his feelings and says that he is very happy, police uncles are very good, I too will become a police officer when I grow up. Areez's father Ahmad Yar said that he would do his best to fulfill his son's wish and give him the best education and training so that he could be a part of the police force and serve others. It may be recalled that the five-year-old Areez was abducted on May 13th from a private housing society in Sundar area of Lahore by his step-grandmother along with close friend for a ransom of Rs 100 million. Investigation Police Lahore recovered the child safely after 18 days of professionalism and scientific method of interrogation. Police team arrested two accused Sajjad and Akram against whom further action is being taken. Public circles in the media are praising Punjab Police while Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has also praised Punjab Police.
