Punjab Inspector General of Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan has taken notice of the incident of harassment of women in Bahawalnagar and sought a report from RPO Bahawalpur. IG Punjab directed DPO Bahawalnagar to inquire into the incident under personal supervision and said that strict legal action should be taken against those responsible. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that the perpetrators of violence against women do not deserve any concession, while investigating all aspects of the incident, action should be taken against the perpetrators of violence against women.
