Elite Force
LAHORE: Mujahid Squad SP Athar Waheed on Monday said that Elite Force has been made operational for security of sensitive places of the city to counter crime and other terrorist activities.
According to a handout issued on Monday, SP Athar Waheed has ordered a contingent of Elite Force with 10 vehicles to patrol different roads and places of the city. He said these vehicles had been taken back from the escort duties of VVIPs.
He said that from Airport to Bhatta Chowk, Burki Road to Elite Centre, from Airport to Hurbanspura and Mehmood Buti, from Niazi Chowk to Taj Company Shera Kot, from Thokar Niaz Baig to Sagian Pul, IG Chowk to Al-Hamra, from Fortress Stadium to Regal Chowk and roads from Liberty, Kalma Chowk, Barkat Market and Chungi Amar Sadho had been declared as most specified roads where the contingents of Elite Force would be patrolling.
Athar Waheed said that the DSP concerned DSP present the day-to-day diary to him.
