Ceremony at CPO in honor of children of police personnel who have secured positions in college, university and board examinations

In the ceremony organized in collaboration with National Police Foundation, 11 students were given  laptops and motorcycles.

This initiative will inspire the children of other employees to show outstanding performance.  Director Welfare (NPF) DIG Capt (R) Ata Muhammad.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Welfare Punjab, Abdul Ghaffar Qaisarani said that according to the vision of IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, preferential steps are being taken under new Welfare Policy 2022 for providing welfare and educational scholarships to the children of police personnel.  He said that the encouragement of children of police personnel who have achieved top positions in the field of education by the National Police Foundation is a good initiative which will inspire these children to perform better in future examinations.  Abdul Ghaffar Qaisarani said that Punjab Police Welfare Department is committed to provide all possible facilities to the children of police personnel within the available resources and this year also, educational scholarships will be provided to maximum number of children of police personnel as per merit.  He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony organized at the Central Police Office in collaboration with the National Police Foundation.

According to the details, a special ceremony was organized in honor of children of police personnel who secured positions in college, university and board examinations.   11 students who secured top three positions in academic examinations in the last three years were encouraged by National Police Foundation.  On behalf of the National Police Foundation, Director Welfare National Police Foundation DIG Capt (retd) Ata Muhammad and DIG Welfare Punjab Abdul Ghaffar Qaisarani distributed the prizes.  Recipients of the prizes include four Matric, FA and FSC students, five B.Sc students and two Master Level students.  03 students have been given motorcycles whereas 08 students have been given latest laptops.  All the students have secured top positions in college, university and board examinations in the last three years.  Director Welfare National Police Foundation DIG Capt (retd) Ata Muhammad while congratulating the award winning students said that the National Police Foundation would continue to take further steps from its platform for the welfare of police personnel. DIG Welfare Abdul Ghaffar Qaisarani thanked the National Police Foundation for encouraging the children of police personnel.  Hareem Raza, Fatima Shafaqat, Shajal Shadia, Muhammad Babar Nisar, Mehrab Khan, Sameera Ramay, Saqib Ashfaq, Malaika Rafiq, Miskan Javed, Aun Aftab and Farhat Aziz are among the students who received prizes.  All the students thanked for the encouragement and reiterated their commitment to perform well in the upcoming exams with more dedication.
