IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan takes plausible step for families of martyrs, issues instructions to send Eidi by department.
Families of martyrs in all districts of the province will be given cash as well as Eid gifts.
On the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, CCPO Lahore including all RPOs, CPOs, DPOs will visit the homes of the two martyrs and meet their families.
Martyrs are the forehead of the police department. Taking care of their families is one of the top priorities. IG Punjab
Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has said that brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in line of duty to protect lives and property of citizens are the real heroes of the department. Punjab Police will not leave families of martyrs alone at any stage. IG Punjab directed RPOs, DPOs to keep close contact with the families of martyrs and provide them all possible facilities. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid gifts should be provided by the department to the families of martyrs in all the districts of the province and senior officers should also visit houses of martyrs for expressing solidarity with them. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that Punjab Police is like a family and as the Chief of Punjab Police the best welfare of the families of martyrs is my first priority for which all available resources will be utilized.
On the direction of IG Punjab, DIG Welfare Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani has issued instructions to send Eid to the families of martyrs in all the districts. In a letter sent to RPOs and DPOs, it has been directed that cash gifts as well as Eid gifts be given to the families of martyrs in all the districts of the province. Moreover, senior officers will also visit homes of martyrs and present them Eid gifts. The letter further said that on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, CCPO, all RPOs, DPOs including would visit houses of the two martyrs and meet their families and a detailed report would be sent to the Central Police Office after the distribution of Eid gifts.
