Sikh pilgrims from other countries, including India, came to participate in Beshakhi festival and appreciated services of Punjab Police. According to details, on the occasion of annual festival Besakhi, hundreds of Sikh pilgrims from different parts of the world came to Pakistan and performed religious rites at their holy places in other cities including Lahore, Nankana, Gujranwala and Narowal. As directed by IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, Punjab Police teams ensured foolproof arrangements for the security and convenience of Sikh pilgrims in all the districts and provided all possible help, assistance and protection to the male and female elderly Sikh pilgrims. Upon which services of Punjab policemale and female personnel were admired.
According to details, Sikh pilgrims appreciated the services of Punjab Police after performing religious rites. Expressing their views, Sikh pilgrims said that Punjab Police has provided best security to us at all places including Lahore, Nankana, Gujranwala and Narowal. Our elders performed religious rites with ease. Expressing their sentiments, the Sikh pilgrims said that Pakistani police provided us VIP security which is provided to ministers in our Punjab. The elderly Sikh pilgrim thanked the Punjab Police and said that the Government of Pakistan and the Punjab Police have provided us a very homely atmosphere in a foreign country and we are grateful to police personnel. The Sikh pilgrims also greeted and hailed Punjab Police personnel for providing excellent services.
