Mianwali police have arrested a ruthless accused who brutally killed his newborn daughter by firing on her. Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that Mianwali police with the help of modern technology has arrested the accused Shahzeb from Bhakkar district. According to Punjab Police spokesperson, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar and IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan took notice of the tragic incident and ordered immediate arrest of the accused. IGP Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has been taking updates about the arrest of accused from RPO Sargodha and DPO Mianwali on daily basis.
DPO Mianwali Ismail-ur-Rehman Kharak while giving a press conference informed the media about the arrest of the accused. According to DPO Mianwali, a brutal father killed his seven-day-old daughter with five pistol bullets. on March 6 in Mohalla Noorpura area of City Police Station and fled the scene. DPO Mianwali said that, after registering the case of the incident, 03 teams were formed for the immediate arrest of the accused who worked day and night to arrest the accused Shahzeb son of Amanullah from District Bhakkar with the help of their professional skills and modern technology. DPO Mianwali Ismail-ur-Rehman Kharak further said that on the direction of IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan, he would personally supervise the investigation of the incident and after completing the investigation process, the ruthless accused would be given exemplary punishment. DPO Mianwali Ismail-ur-Rehman Kharak further said that IG Punjab has issued a zero tolerance policy on incidents of violence against children and women and steps will continue in this regard on priority basis.
