Inspector General of Punjab Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan has taken notice of the death of a citizen due to metallic string of kite in Faisalabad and sought a report from RPO Faisalabad. Expressing anger over the incident, he said that strict action would be taken against the officers who did not prevent the incidents of kite flying. IG Punjab appealed to the citizens to report the kite flying on 15 so that strict action could be taken against such elements.
