IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan takes notice incident of killing of female citizen by firing of PHP official in Sialkot
IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan took notice of the incident in which a female citizen was shot dead by a PHP official in Sialkot and sought a report from RPO Gujranwala. On the instructions of IG Punjab, an immediate case was registered against official who opened fire at night and he was arrested. Further legal and departmental action is being taken against the official.
IG Punjab has said that encroachment of powers is not acceptable in any case while fulfilling the legal requirements, the concerned official will be severely punished.
