Muzaffar Garh police took immediate action on the notice of Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan and arrested three main accused of setting a senior citizen on fire in Alipur. IG Punjab had sought a report of the incident from RPO DG Khan and directed immediate arrest of the accused. IG Punjab said that the perpetrators of atrocities against the citizens do not deserve any sympathy, strict legal action should be taken against the arrested accused.
DPO Muzaffargarh informed about the details of the incident that legal action has been taken against the accused by Seet Pur police station of Alipur for burning a senior citizen and FIR was registered. He added that 03 accused Fateh Mohammad, Mohammad Darwish and Babar were arrested. He said that every aspect of the incident is being investigated and / the senior citizen has been referred to DHQ Bahawalpur after initial treatment. DPO Muzaffargarh further said that after investigation, the accused will be sentenced.
