Islamabad - Sihala Police have arrested notorious land mafia gangster Saeen Fazal Inam Sabir for plotting murder of a high ranked military officer of Defense Housing Authority (DHA), informed sources on Monday. The accused was put behind the lock up after registration of a case number 94/22 under sections 342/506ii/148/149 and 109 of PPC with Police Station (PS) Sihala on complaint of Kamran Farid, a land supervisor at DHA, sources mentioned.
According to sources, the complainant stated that, he along with other employees was held hostage at gunpoint and severely tortured by six armed men who introduced themselves as accomplices of Saeen Inam. He alleged that the gunmen threatened that they would soon kidnap a high ranking military officer of DHA on Saeen Inam’s orders and would kill him. He mentioned that the two gunmen fled while the other four identified as Sher Ali, Rizwan, Abdullah and Wasim were handed over to police which arrived on scene following a call on Police Helpline Rescue 15. He told police that Saeen Inam, Navid Ulfat and Raja Tufail along with 20/25 armed men also stormed into DHA on January 29, 2022 to grab land but fled after a call was made to Rescue 15.
