Prize for warden
LAHORE: CHIEF Traffic Officer Ahmad Mobeen on Friday has awarded a commendatory certificate and Rs 5,000 in cash to a traffic warden for rescuing an injured citizen and returning citizen’s valuables, including Rs. 250,000 and an expensive mobile phone.
A citizen namely Abdul Kareem sustained injuries in a road accident and went unconscious in traffic sector Kot Lakhpat.
Traffic warden Zulifqar, who was on duty in the said sector, immediately rushed the injured citizen to a nearby hospital and also informed his relatives.
On their arrival, traffic warden Zulfiqar handed over a bag, carrying Rs.250,000 and an expensive mobile of the injured citizen to his brother.
The brother of the injured citizen on Friday told Chief Traffic Officer about the act of warden over which CTO awarded the said certificate and cash prize to the warden.
