Three cops among six shot dead
CHINIOT-Six people including three policemen were killed when a kidnapping accused opened fire at them during a raid carried out to arrest him.
According to detail, a contingent of Silan Wali Police raided a house in Village 135 South to arrest Asad in an abduction case. As soon as the culprit spotted the police team he started firing at them. As a result, Constable Muhammad Hayyat Lali, police van driver Sher Muhammad, Razakar Ahmed Bakhsh and three locals – Abdul Haq, Sarwar and Zafar Iqbal sustained bulled wounds and died on the spot. The accused Asad fled away after committing the crime. The police registered a case and launched a search for the accused.
