Five alleged robbers held
LAHORE: Shahdara police arrested five alleged dacoits after exchange of fire while two of their accomplices succeeded in fleeting on Monday.
According to a duty officer at Shahdara police station. Seven dacoits entered Kamran Park, Begum Kot and started robbing people. Seeing them, a citizen informed police. As police personnel reached the spot, the accused tried to flee.
Five accused persons were arrested while two succeeded in fleeing, said the duty officer. The arrested have been identified as Usman, Ramazan, Faizan, Zeeshan and Mahmood.
