In order to curb the crime, change the police culture, to meet future challenges and to make Lahore digitalized city Inspector General of Police Punjab Javed Iqbal has proposed five years plan to the government for which Rs. 25 billions will be required.
According to details for the implementation on the proposed plan IGP recommended three proposals to the government. These proposals included the new legislation for the police and implementation of police order 2002 in its real spirit, to enhance the number of police personnel in rationalization of police force and provision of latest technology alongwith suggestions to make Lahore digitalized city on London patron.
IGP also told that with the rapid growth of population future planning of crime control is the dire need of the hour.
