In order to review the Law & Order situation and especially the security arrangements relating to the forthcoming Holy month of Ramazan across the Punjab, RPO’s meeting held here today at Police Headquarter Punjab, under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police, Javed Iqbal.
Additional Inspector General of Police CTD and Special Branch Punjab, the Commandant Punjab Constabulary, all Regional Police Officers in the Punjab, the Capital City Police Officer Lahore, the City Police Officer Faisalabad, the DIG/Establishment, Punjab Police Hqrs, AIGs Finance, Development & Vigilance Punjab Police, Hqrs also attended the meeting.
The IGP/Punjab, Javed Iqbal directed all senior police officers to ensure fool proof security arrangements for maintenance of Law & Order especially in mosques & “Travhee gatherings”.
The Police Chief further directed that the senior police officials should personally carry out the checking of personnels deployed for the special duty. He also directed that the police force should be kept high alert so that the quick response of police could be ensured for dealing with any untoward incident, concluded the IGP.
