6th National Championship in Softball held at Central University of the Punjab, Lahore, today.

 

Total Six teams including Pakistan Police, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, Islamabad participated in the championship across Pakistan.

 

President Pakistan Olympic Association, General retired Syed Arif Hassan was the chief guest on this occasion.

 

Director Sports Board Police and Addl. IGP, Welfare & Finance, Sohail Ahmad Khan and other senior officers and officials were also present.

 

The final was played between Police and Balochistan on today 22.10.2014. Police beat the Balochistan with securing points: Police 18 and Balochistan 4. Police Team secured first position in the championship, Balochistan teams stood second whereas KPK stood third. It is also pointed out that the Police won the softball event in the National Games 2012, Lahore.
