Rs50m accord to upgrade police dept infrastructure
LAHORE, Jan 20: Capital City Police Officer Ahmad Raza Tahir and Admin Director and Finance Manager of a group of companies Zafar Riaz signed a memorandum of understanding and a three-year agreement worth Rs50 million for upgrading the police department infrastructure.
According to a handout issued on Friday, the MoU signing ceremony was held between two sides at the CCPO office.
According to terms and conditions of the agreement, the Medicam Group of Companies will extend an amount of Rs50 million to the CCPO office for upgrading the infrastructure like barricades and alike, while the CCPO office will look after them.
Furthermore, the companies would also ensure provision and painting of all direction boards involving all maintenance work of police stations, electric work, ensuring availability of water coolers, installation of 473 coolers and painting of police mobiles, all maintenance work of these items would be carried out for a period of three years.
The agreement also pointed out that the CCPO office would also be responsible for proper maintenance and due care of the facilities provided by the companies.
