RAWALPINDI (APP): Meanwhile, the chief justice of Lahore High Court (LHC), Manzoor Ahmed Malik has appreciated Rawalpindi police for arresting the killers of Additional District & Session Judge Tahir Khan Niazi.
The chief justice expressed satisfaction over the performance of the police officials to track down the killers of the judge in a meeting here Sunday. Among others, District & Session Judge Rawalpindi Sher Bahudar, City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Abbasi and others were present on the occasion.
Malik said that exemplary punishment should be awarded to the killers.
The city police officer informed Malik about the arrest and further development in investigation of the case.
The gunmen had killed the additional district and sessions judge in Sadiqabad area on August 5 and assailants managed to escape from the scene after the gruesome attack.
