Inspector General of Police Punjab Javed Iqbal chaired a meeting of PHQ officers held here today. Addl. IG Finance & Welfare Qalab-e-abbas, Addl. IG Training Punjab Sarmad Saeed, Addl. IG Investigation Aslam Tareen, Addl. IG R&D Malik Khuda Bakish Awan, DIG Operations Sohail Khan also attended the meeting.
The Police Chief stressed upon the officer to furnish the sectional performance report 2011 within two weeks. On this occasion the IGP also shared his six points vision for 2012 with the participants of the meeting. These points are included reorganization & restructuring of PHQ, organizational frame work of the PHQ, Developing comprehensive plan for reforms of Punjab police, launching of modern and latest trends in information technology section, comprehensive review of policy frame work and administrative proposals. He further said that keeping in view his vision for 2012 all sectional heads should finalize their strategy in this regard so that its implementation could be ensured.
While delegating all administrative powers to Addl. IG Punjab, Javed Iqbal said that in future all proposals, evaluation reports and official files should route through Addl. IG Punjab. Moreover, he also directed Addl. IG Punjab to keep on regular visits of regional offices and also give him constant briefing about the performance of Field Police Officers respectively.
