The police claimed on Wednesday to have smashed three gangs of robbers and thieves and recovered the looted goods and cash.
District Police Officer Rai Ijaz told a press conference that the Crime Investigation Cell (CIA) had smashed a four member gang of rustlers and recovered cattle and a vehicle being used in crime.
A team arrested Abrar Ahmad and Muhammad Naveed, residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, who were involved in stealing batteries from telecom companies towers and recovered 19 batteries.
The Jalalpur Jattan Sadar police arrested four members of a gang and recovered a motorbike and Rs.800,000.
