Three drug pushers arrested
Faisalabad, July 11: Saddar police claim to have smashed a gang of drug pushers and seized a huge quantity of heroin, opium and hashish during a raid in Dhudiwala on Monday.
Those arrested are Arshad, alias Don, of Chak 214-RB, Dhudiwala, Amir of Chak 215-RB, Ghulam Rasool of Chak 447-GB and Afzal of Sukheke, Hafizabad. The Police claimed to have recovered 73 kg hashish, 13kg heroin and 5kg opium.
The police also seized different weapons, including a Kalashnikov, five pump actions, Two pistols and bullets.
City Police Officer Rai Tahir said the crackdown on drug peddlers would continue.
