Nigerian High Commission in CPO

Inspector General of Police, Nigeria, MD Abubakar along with Nigerian High Commission, Dauda Danlandi met with Inspector General of Police Punjab, Khan Baig at Central Police Office, Lahore today.

In the meeting, Nigerian IGP, Nigerian High Commission Dauda Danlandi and other Nigerian police officers including, DIG Atiku Kafur, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adat Odudo, Assistant Commissioner of Police Garba Baba Umar, SP Aboyomi Shogunle, ASP Balogan Gboyega and Zafar Mehmood, President Pakistan Africa Business Association were also present. Addl: IGP Punjab, Sarmad Saeed Khan, DIG Establishment, Amjad Javed Saleemi, DIG Welfare and Finance, Faisal Shahkar, DIG Headquarters Punjab, Muhammad Tahir, DIG Training Punjab, Tariq Masood Yasin and PSO to IGP Punjab, Muhammad Ali Naik-o-Kara attended the meeting.

IGP Punjab Khan Baig briefed the delegation that Government of Punjab is revamping the Counter Terrorism Department of the Punjab Police by providing latest and modern technology along with the induction of skilled and trained officers.

While talking on the occasion, the Nigerian IGP told that Nigerian Police is interested to get trained of their officials from CTD Punjab under the training courses exchange programs. IGP Punjab assured the delegation that this proposal will be implemented after the finalization of the modules set by the working groups of both countries’ police.

 Nigerian IGP, MD Abubakar also thanked the Punjab Police Chief for extending his full cooperation.
