A five member Joint Investigation Team constituted by Government of Punjab has started investigation of Kasur incident.
Convener of this committee will be Deputy Commandant Punjab Constabulary, DIG Abubakar Khudabakhsh. The committee also included two members from intelligence agencies and other two police officers are included, SSP Khalid Bashir Cheema and DSP Liquat Ali.
The committee will furnish its report before the government very shortly, whereas, the section 7-ATA under PPC also incorporated already lodged FIRs in Kasur incident.
