Despite of all security threats, Punjab police specially Lahore Police delivered tremendous services regarding the security arrangements during cricket matches for the visiting Zimbabwian team and cricket lovers in Lahore. I saluted and appreciated the Punjab specially Lahore police force for their wonderful fulfillment of official duties on the occasion.
This was stated by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera while talking to the CCPO Lahore, Amin Wains and DIG Operations Lahore, Dr. Haider Ashraf today. He said that he also admired the efforts of SP CIA Umer Virk, all divisional SPs and the officials who performed their duties during the matches.
The PPO further said that Punjab police has proved that it has the capability, courage and determination to meet all kind of challenges including terrorism and crime control in the province. He hoped that in future Punjab police will continuously perform its duties more devotedly, diligently and professionally and will defuse the nefarious designs of anti-state elements.
