On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Khan Baig, a condolence reference in favour of Shaheed SSP, ATC (Karachi), Muhammad Aslam, was held at Central Police Office, Lahore today.
Being on an official tour at Multan, Addl; IGP Punjab, Sarmad Saeed read the condolence statement of IGP on the occasion. (R) Muhammad Usman Khattak, Acting Addl: IGP, Welfare and Finance, Faisal Shahkar, DIG Establishment, Amjad Javaid Saleemi, DIG Operations, Farooq Mazhar, DIG Headquarters Punjab, Muhammad Tahir, DIG R&D, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, DIG Training, Tariq Masood Yasin, DIG Discipline, Ali Amir Malik, AIG Admin. Sajjad Hassan Khan Manj., AIG Logistics, Shariq Kamal Siddiqui, AIG Operations, Waqas Nazir, AIG Discipline, Capt. (R) Romail Akram, PSO to IGP Punjab, Muhammad Ali Naik o Kara, Director Computer Bureau Shaheen Khalid and all officers / officials of CPO attended the reference.
In his statement, the IGP said that for the professional police officer, the provincial identity does not matter, only the spirit of crime fighting made him distinguish. The sacrifice of Shaheed Ch. Aslam has infused a new spirit among the police force and enables them to fight against the criminals with more devotion and dedication. All the participants expressed their complete solidarity with the Shaheed SSP and reiterated to follow the footprints of Shaheed Muhammad Aslam in discharging their professional duties.
On this occasion, Qari Muhammad Yasin offered Fateha for Shaheed SSP, Muhammad Aslam, Shaheed-e-Quetta, DIG Fayyaz Ahmed Sumbal and also for Lady SP Safiya Baigum of CPO who died suddenly on Wednesday, two days back.
