Four robbers arrested
LAHORE: Punjab Highway Patrol arrested four dacoits and recovered two stolen vehicles during routine patrolling on Friday. In detail, PHP team Roshanwali Jhal, Faisalabad, received information that four people boarding a had tried to loot a woman, Yasmeen Akhtar, and her nephew, Shakeel Ahmad, near Adda Dijkot Pharala Morr.
The PHP team intercepted the car and arrested accused Kashif Mahmood, Noor Ahmad, Ghulam Abbas and Zubaida Bibi.
A PHP team of Khurrianwala, Faisalabad, recovered a car near the Jandwali-Khurrianwala Road. The car was stolen from the jurisdiction of Mansoorabad.
A PHP team Haveli Bahadar Shah, Jhang, received a telephonic message about a stolen van which was moving from Multan towards Jhang.
The team conducted intercepted the vehicle and arrested driver Ghulam Shabbir s/o Wariam r/o Kabir Wala, Khanewal, and handed him over to local police.
