Service record of cops to be computerised

Oct 04, 2011

LAHORE–The Capital City Police Officer has pledged to computerise the service record of all cops working with the City police to expedite their performance. In this regards, he has said that mobile wagons of the NADRA would soon initiate the process of preparing computerised Identity Cards of police officials in the City.

According to an official handout, during this process, confidential, criminal and pension-related data of the cops would be updated. The CCPO said due to non-availability of computerised NICs of cops and their family members, a great deal of difficulty was being faced with regard to day-to-day work.

NADRA will also help in computerising the criminal record and, through online system, would continue to provide timely information to the Police Head Office.
