Crackdown on underage drivers soon
DSP Traffic Waseem Akhtar has called upon citizens to create awareness against underage driving and desist from giving vehicles to children for driving.
He pointed out that most of the road mishap occurred due to careless driving by teenagers and parents should stop giving their vehicles to the minors to avoid road accidents. Further, he said that to avert such incidents District Traffic Police was going to launch crackdown on tender-age drivers.
Meanwhile, the traffic police have displayed banners and distributed pamphlets to create awareness among the public regarding traffic rules and ill-effects of driving by minors.
