43 participants of 17th Senior Management Course attended a briefing held at Central Police Office Lahore, today.
 
Addl: IGP Training, Capt. (R) Usman Khattak presided over the briefing on behalf of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera, due to some official commitments. Addl: IGP Welfare and Finanace, Sohail Khan, Addl: IGP Operations, Capt. (R), Arif Nawaz, Addl: IGP Investigation, Tariq Masood Yasin, DIG PHP, Salman Chaudhry, DIG Training, Saad Akhter Bharwana, DIG R&D, Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, AIG Operations, Capt (R) Romail Akram, PSO to IGP Tariq Rustam Chauhan and other officers of CPO were also present on this occasion.
While briefing the delegation, Addl: IGP Operations, Capt. (R) Arif Nawaz told the delegation about the police budget, capacity building, operational working, fight againt terrorism, implementation on National Action Plan, Investigation Procedures, Training Courses, Forensic Lab, Crime Control Strategy and working of all other sister organizations of the police department.
 
While answering the questions of the participants, Addl: IGP, Training, Capt (R), Usman Khattak said that Punjab police has proved by dint of its working that it is equally capable to meet all kind of challenges. He further said that so many steps are being under process for enhancing the capacity building of the Punjab police which will improve the law and order in the province.
 
Later, Addl: IGP Training, Capt. (R), Usman Khattak presented the traditional police sovienir to the visiting delegates.
