Punjab Police smashes gangs
Lahore: Investigations police on Thursday claimed to have smashed six robbery gangs by arresting 25 members during the last 14 days.
Police spokesman, Azhar Naveed told The Nation that investigators had also traced 34 cases of robberies and dacoities while the police also recovered looted valuables worth two million rupees from the arrested bandits.
He further said that the arrested criminals were wanted by the police in several cases of murder, robbery and auto-lifting.
