GUJRAT: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped at gunpoint by three suspects in Eshra village near Shadiwal area of Kunjah police precincts.
However police claimed to have arrested two of the suspects involved in the crime within 24 hours of the incident.
‘N’ of Lange village lodged a complaint with police that she along with her daughter and a nephew were going to Kunjah on a motorbike when three suspects ‘A’ of Eshra, ‘Na’ of Parhianwali and ‘Z’ of Eshra stopped them and took them to a place at gunpoint where they locked her with the nephew.
She said the suspects took away her daughter to another room where they allegedly gang raped her and made a video.
Police lodged the case against the suspects under sections 376ii, 392 and 367A of PPC on the report of girl’s mother.
The victim girl was shifted to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital where doctors conducted her medical examination and according to the initial report she was gang raped.
Meanwhile, police claim to have arrested two of the suspects and recovered a 223-bore gun and 30-bore pistol from them.
