Chinese Jiangsu police delegation spent a busy day in Lahore.

Senior officers of Chinese Jiangsu police delegation spent a busy day in Lahore visiting different police offices and training schools. Chinese officers led by Mr. Tan Yongsheng Deputy DGs, Public Security Jiangsu Police, visited the elite training center in Bedian in the morning,where Additional IG Elite Waqar Abbasi welcomed the Chinese delegation and briefed them about the elite force's training, professional affairs and operations. Additional IG Elite Waqar Abbasi said Elite Force is a specialized force of Punjab Police for carrying out high profile operations and elite police officials are carrying out the mission of fighting terrorists and dangerous criminals. During the meeting, the Chinese police officers also met Additional IG Highway Patrol (PHP) Rao Abdul Karim. Additional IG Patrol Rao Abdul Karim briefed the Chinese delegation about the working of PHP. Additional IG Patrol Rao Abdul Karim said that Punjab Highway Patrol is on the mission of serving and protecting the citizens on the highways and the PHP is also performing the duties of first responders on all the inter-district roads of the province.

After the meeting, the Chinese police officers reviewed the training standards and exercises of the elite force at the elite center. Elite personnel demonstrated mechanism of VVIPs protection in an emergency situation, karate, physical combat and firing practice etc. Chinese police officers also inspected the weapons and other advanced equipment used by the elite. DIG Special Protection Unit Tayyab Hafeez Cheema, DIG Elite Sadiq Ali Dogar, SSP Nida Umar Chatta and other officers were present on the spot. Later, the chinese delegation of police officers visited the Police Service Center Liberty Market.The delegation was led by Mr. Tan Yongsheng, Deputy DG of Public Security Jiangsu Police, included other senior officers. DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi welcomed the delegation at khidmat marakaz liberty. Chinese police officers were informed about various departments of the police service center. ASP Gulbarg Syeda Shehrbano briefed the Chinese police officers about the working and different features of the khidmat marakaz.

Chinese police officers were briefed that the Liberty Police Service Center is providing more than 14 policing services to the citizens 24 hours a day in the state of art environment. Chinese police officers reviewed the process of police character certificate, driving license issuance and working of other counters.Chinese police officers were also briefed about the objectives and performance of the Tahaffuz markaz. Police Tahaffuz Center is providing social security , support to transgenders, women and  children and treatment of mentally challenged persons. Chinese police officers were also briefed about the aims and objectives of the Meesaq Center, which is active in helping minority citizens and interfaith harmony throughout the province. DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi presented souvenir to the head of the Chinese delegation. DIG Special Protection Unit Tayyab Hafeez Cheema and other officers of Lahore Police were also present.
